Like an anthropologist from another planet, I document concrete physical evidence of a culture, focusing on what it chooses to treasure and to discard, and how those interactions and choices drastically transform the landscape. This evidence of human life, in the form of garbage strewn throughout the landscape, is presented as a type of accidental, ephemeral still life. A fleeting meditation on a confusing bounty.
