Gail Victoria Braddock Quagliata Fine Art Conceptual Street Photography Absurdity

Gail VBQ (b. Ogallala, Nebraska) is a New York-based multi-media artist working predominantly in various permutations of photography. After acquiring certification in Vocational Photography while attending Omaha Central High School, Gail went on to receive a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Film and Video, and, after a few years and some much-needed life experience, an MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute. Her projects are conceptually driven, deliberately absurd examinations of the humor she finds within the prosaic. Gail's photographic work has been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Crain's, and the New York Times.

Gail also writes art criticism for publications like The Brooklyn Rail.
